Encore Capital Group® Expands Junior Achievement Partnership to Empower Youth for Economic Success

Affirms Support for Multiple Junior Achievement Local Areas in the U.S. and Launches Official Partnership with Junior Achievement in Spain

Last year, we announced the establishment of a partnership with Junior Achievement USA, the nation’s largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success. Today, we are proud to announce the continuation of Encore Capital Group’s (Encore) support of Junior Achievement’s mission in the United States as well as the launch of our partnership with Fundación Junior Achievement España, JA’s entity in Spain and member of JA Worldwide.

“Our work is centered on partnering with consumers to reach their economic freedom and we believe that creating pathways for economic freedom begins with financial education,” said Eloisa Orozco, Encore’s Director of Communications and global community impact lead. “By supporting the mission of Junior Achievement, we are contributing to enriching young minds with the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success.”

Encore’s continued support of Junior Achievement’s mission in the United States will include extending financial support to local Junior Achievement local areas, where its U.S. business, Midland Credit Management (MCM), operates as well as donate employee volunteer time.

In Spain, colleagues from Cabot Financial Spain, one of Encore’s European businesses as part of Cabot Credit Management, will volunteer with Fundación Junior Achievement España to support its educational programming, reaching youth in Madrid. Encore will also extend a donation to support the organization’s financial literacy programs.

Encore first started its relationship with Junior Achievement by supporting the organization’s San Diego chapter in 2023 as Encore began efforts to further align the company’s donations to its community impact pillar of promoting financial freedom.
